The San Joaquin Valley Swiss Club will be starting a Swiss Miss and Ambassador Program, beginning at the Fall Schwingfest. The vision of this program is to increase participation in our Swiss heritage so that the youth will continue the traditions brought to America generations before us.
Through the Swiss Miss and Ambassador program teens will be able to participate, learn and grow in the Swiss heritage, but also leadership and community building skills.

*Ages 13-18 years of age
*Academics 2.5 or higher (No D’s or F’s); Good Citizenship
*Community Involvement; including a minimum of 4 hrs. at the Swiss Club, plus other outside activities
*A Written Essay: Why is it important to learn and participate in Swiss heritage? Why are you the best candidate for the Swiss Miss or      Ambassador Program? How will being selected as the Swiss Miss or Ambassador be valuable or meaningful to you?
*Parents need to be Current Club Members
*Interview Process

If you are selected you will be required to participate in a few Swiss Events and some community events, such as: The Lodi Grape Festival Parade, Schwingfest, Kids Swiss Camp, and Almond Blossom Parade in Ripon. You might be asked to participate in other events as well.

We will review applications and have an interview process in August; the Swiss Miss and Ambassador will be announced at the SJVSC Fall Schwingfest.
